Breakfast can get boring – fast! I used to grab something easy like a banana, but I’d be starving in less than an hour. But with smoothie breakfast bowls, you get a raw, easy, and delicious alternative! Incorporating more raw foods into your diet provides your body with all the essential enzymes, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, protein, fats, and fiber it needs to function at 100%!

Adding Acai berries to my smoothie bowls gives them that little extra somethin’. Well-known for their healing and immune-boosting properties, Acai berries are packed with way more antioxidants than other berries and 10 times the amount of antioxidants as grapes. They have tons of fiber and boost energy too! Here’s a few more reasons to incorporate them into your diet:

Healthy Heart. The antioxidants in Acai berries lower cholesterol, improve blood flow, strengthen cells, and relax blood vessels.

Anti-Aging. Antioxidants have been linked to reversing the aging process, promoting skin repair, and lowering free radical damage.

Skin Health. Acai berries can also be beneficial topically. Nowadays, beauty companies are using Acai oil in many of their products because the antioxidants promote healthy, soft skin. For centuries, the berries have been used to treat a variety of skin conditions by many South American cultures.

And how do I give my smoothie breakfast bowl that extra “yum” factor? Add granola on top!

Acai Berry Smoothie Breakfast Bowl Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 frozen organic bananas
  • 2 Tablespoons of Acai Berry powder
  • Water
  • Go Raw Granola

Instructions:

  • Mix bananas, Acai Berry powder, and water in a blender or food processor
  • Top with your favourite Go Raw Granola
  • Enjoy!!
